Warcraft III Reforged: Forsaken Kingdom explores the events between Arthas's return to Lordaeron and the emergence of the Undercity, filling in the four-year gap between Warcraft III and World of Warcraft. The story is split between the Last Days of Lordaeron prologue and the main Forsaken Kingdom campaign, following the aftermath of Arthas's return to Lordaeron and chronicling the rise of Sylvanas Windrunner and the Forsaken as they join the Horde. Warcraft III Reforged: Forsaken Kingdom includes approximately 30 hours of gameplay and nearly an hour of in-game cinematics - a suitably “chonky” experience (Brad’s words). Alongside the campaign, Patch 3.0 also adds a new Definitive Edition graphics mode for all Warcraft III: Reforged players, updating the game's visuals while preserving the spirit of the original Warcraft III.
